Seven Fairy Mountain

Seven-Fairy-Mountain9km to the northeast of Baoting County is Baoting National Rainforest Park. The Seven Fairy Mountain is right in the park, and with an elevation of around 1126 metres it is one of the most famous scenic spots in Hainan. There are seven stones projecting to the sky on the top of the mountain, just like seven fingers pointing to the sky, as such the local people call it the Seven-Finger Mountain.

There are numerous waterfalls scattered in and around the rainforest with a variety of little creatures such as crabs, small fish and frogs. Every now and then, you can also see beautiful butterflies flying over your head. Winding through the forest, you can take a rest as there are small huts and stone benches placed by the locals, you can also wash your face in the ponds of crystal clear water.

Wenbi Peak

wenbi-peakWenbi Peak, also known as Wenhao Peak, is located in the central part of Ding'an County. Rising abruptly from the ground, this elegant and beautiful mountain is regarded as having one of the most superb views across the entire Island.
Wenbi Peak is a significant religious icon in Hainan and is known as a pilgrimage destination as it is widely regarded as the birthplace of Taoism in southern China.

Maogong Mountain

maogong-mountainMaogong Mountain, is part of the Baoguo mountain range, less than 50 km from Sanya. Tianyahaijiao. Maogong Mountain (Maogong Shan) gets its name from the fact that the whole mountain resembles the reclining figure of Modern China's founding father, Chairman Mao. The best place for viewing "Chairman Mao" is at the nearby Baoguo Farm.

Additional features in the area are a Li nationality village called Liberation Village and a Miao nationality village called Red East Village. Indulge your senses here with a visit to the spectacular waterfall, stone scenes and experience a special ethnic atmosphere.

Mount Diaoluo Forest Park

Mount-Diaoluo-Forest-ParkThe state forest park in Diaoluo Mountain is located in the north of the Lingshui county. It is one of the largest tropic rainforests in Hainan, covering 38 000 hectares with the highest peak reaching 1 499 metres. In June 1998, the park was given the status of a national park and has since become known in China as one of the most beautiful and well preserved. The best season to the park is from November to March when the weather is unlikely to ruin your day.

Baishi Ridge

Baishi-RidgeBaishi Ridge was set aside for development back in the early 1990'. In recent years, it has been transformed into a lavishly refurbished, tourism centre. Featuring the only Natural Rock Climbing Base in Hainan, the first Grass Sliding Course in Hainan, the first Kart Racing Course as well as many other attractions, Baishi Ridge has something to offer everyone. The amount of visitors has rapidly climbed since the development and they now see around 2000 customers a day.

Baishi Ridge has received a lot of praise for both its ingenuity and good management, and it has been rewarded, winning "The Most Influential Scenic Spot in Hainan" back in 2004, as well as gaining an A level tourism certification from the government.

Dongshan Ridge Resort

Wuzhi Mountain
