Indulge in Imperial Cuisine fit for an Emperor

indulge in imperial cuisineExperience the flavours of the grandest meal in Chinese history, the Man-Han Imperial Feast at the HNA Beach and Spa Resort

The HNA Beach and Spa Resort is the only resort in Hainan to offer the Man-Han Imperial Feast, the grandest meal ever created in the 2000 year history of Chinese cuisine.

“…the banquet of an Emperor…”

A banquet that was traditionally dedicated to Emperor Kang Xi of the Qing Dynasty, the Man-Han Feast, or the Manhan Quanxi in Mandarin, is a combination of 108 hot and cold dishes taken from both Han and Manchurian cuisine, representing the shared vision and unity between the Hans and the Manchurians while they were ruled as one under the Qing Imperial Court of the 1600s.

All dishes are elaborately prepared and presented with great emphasis on traditional ceremony and etiquette, featuring exotic delicacies from both land and sea. Only the most talented, specially trained chefs are able to create the unique dishes that make up the Man-Han Feast, which the HNA’s own master chefs expertly deliver.

“…a feast only prepared by HNA master chef’s…”

The Palace Feast Restaurant at the HNA is the only hotel restaurant on Hainan with the expertise to serve this grand banquet, including exclusive signature dishes like the famous “Royal Buddha Jumps over the Wall Soup”, a sumptuous dish made up of 20 ancient delicacies including sea-cucumber, shark fin and abalone.

The Man-Han Imperial Feast menu also features exquisite dishes and delicacies not available anywhere else, including “Braised Camel Paw with Broccoli”, “Braised Venison Tendon with Abalone Sauce”, “Sliced Roast Duck with Salad Dressing”, “Imperial Style Crisp Prawns” and many other royal courses fit for an Emperor.

Prices range from $A7 for entrees and $A15 - $A52 for main dishes.
