A joint product of the China National Tourism and the Hainan government, the “Hainan Joy Festival”, held annually during the last two to three weeks of November, kicked off its tenth year of festivities on November 18.
With more than 400 local celebrities attending this, this year’s festival’s highlights are set to include a vehicle procession through some of Hainan’s streets, a series of cultural demonstrations as well as the centerpiece “Superstar’s Show”.
